page numbering

Hi,

I've got a long Word document (45 pages) which has a few
section breaks in it (so that I could change page set up
from portrait to landscape on a few page).

The problem I have is that the page numbering seems to
work ok, until it reaches a section break, where it jumps
back to 2? I've looked in the page setup and can't find
where this can be fixed so that page numbering remains
consistent throughout the document.

Place the cursor in the offending section. From the Page Number Format
dialog (Insert > Page Numbers... > Format button) make sure it says to
continue the numbering from the previous section.
