page numbering

I need some help on page numbering. I am creating a template for our
procedure group. In the header I have the page numbering (X of Y) for the
hole document. In the attachment page of my template, I created a footer so I
can number the pages of each attachment. An example would be Attachment 1
Pages 1 of 3, Attachment 2 Pages 1 of 10 and so on. I went out and looked at
‘How to Create Two-Page Numbering Schemes in One Document’ but it looked like
I needed to know how many attachments(they call it sections) are in the
document. My problem is the number of attachments change with each new
document. One document could have only 1 attachment and the next could have
30 attachments. Is there a way to set it up so I don’t have to know how many
attachments there are?

I have just followed the instructions at
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=190550
(WD: How to Create Two-Page Numbering Schemes in One Document)
using Method 1 and it does not require that you know ahead of time the
number of sections you will have.

It does require however that you insert the SEQ fields at the beginning of
each section.

These could be AutoText...
