Page Numbering

HELP! I can't get the numbers to move to the right side of the page. It shows up when I select it in drop down box that gives top/bottom, left/right/center as options, but the the change doesn't happen. they stay to the inside left.

Delete the page number you have, it's in the wrong place.

Now use "View>Header and Footer" to get into the running footer of the
document.

Put your page number in there, so that it replicates properly on each page.

Then put a Tab in front of it to chase it over to the right.

Chances are your Footer style already contains a Centre tab and a Right tab
stop setting to position the page number for you. If not, change the footer
style tab stops to the position you need.
