page numbers on mix of landscape and portrait

I'm working on my master's thesis which contains mostly
portrait pages, but also a few tables on landscape. Page
numbers are required to be in the upper right hand corner
as if all pages are portrait, whether or not they really
are. Does anyone know if it is possible to rotate the
page number on the landscape pages so they appear as if
they are portrait, or do I need to manually put the pages
through the printer a second time?
