Page numbers wont print

Hello,

I am using Microsoft Office XP Professional. I am trying to print a document
that has page numbers in it. I inserted the page numbers by VIEW >
Header/Footer > Insert page number (Number Icon on the pop up tool bar).

When I try to print the document, I get {PAGE} to appear instead of arabic
numbers.

Is there a problem in my settings? I have two sections, but neither are
printing as they should.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

On the Print tab of Tools | Options, clear the check box for "Field codes."
