Page numbers

I want to number the pages of my paper. I do not want to
start at the begining. I want pages number 1 to be on the
Chapter one page and not my title page. How do I get it
to not number the title page, abstract, and table of
contents and start with page number 1 on Chapter 1??

Hi Kris

Use a section break between the prelims and Chapter 1.

Set the start page number of the second section to 1.

In header and footer view, go to the second section and turn 'same as
previous' off. Add your page number.
