Place the cursor on page 3, at the end of your text. From the Insert
menu, choose Break, under "Section break types", click "Next page",
and click OK.

Now choose View > Header and Footer. You'll see the header area
surrounded with dotted lines. And in the upper corners it says
"Footer - Section 2" and "Same as Previous", respectively.

On the Header and Footer toolbar, click the "Switch Between Header and
Footer" button; Word displays the footer of your second section.

Make sure you click the "Same as previous" button, which makes "Same
as Previous" disappear from the upper corner of the footer.

Click the "Insert page number" button. Then click the "Format page
number" button and choose to restart page numbering in this section.

Click "Close" to close the header and return to your document.

Note: Since you are using Word 2002, it is possible that the "Same as
Previous" option is labeled "Link to Previous" instead; but the
meaning is the same.
