Hi JCO,

I believe you can, as long as you insert a "section break continuous"
in-between the pages you want to number in a different style or
sequence. This separates the sections, but doesn't create new physical
pages. This way, the headers and footers can be formatted within each
section in whichever style or sequence you choose.

Please let us know how you made out.

Best,
Karen

Oops, forgot to add. Make sure your cursor is physically in the
header/footer of the actual page you want to start the new numbering
with, when you insert the new format/sequence.

Not sure what you mean by "section break continuous"
I've tried to go to the physical page 3 and insert a page number (to be 1)
but it changes the entire document. Obviously this can be done manually
since I'm only doing 2-pages with roman numeral, however, I still want to
learn the proper process.

This is what I want the end result to be:
I
II
1
2.... soforth

Hey Karen,
Adding a second section (continuous), allows me to change from Roman
Numerals to Regular Numbers but the Regular numbers won't start at 1. It
still starts at the next increment that the Roman Numeral ended with.

I'm thinking this is the proper way, instead of starting the sequence over
again but not sure. Anyway, I'm not able to do what I originally wanted to
do.

Thanks for your help.

Every time I respond that I can't do something... I figure it out. You help
on my other post, allowed me to figure this out.

It is all work well now.
Thanks.
