page numbers

Hi,
I have recently written a book and trying desperately to get i
published. The book is written using micrsoft word on my pc.
Everything is in accordance to plan and I have done everything require
by the publishers in writing my manuscript. Punctuation, grammer
spacing etc.
However, one of the requirements is to include page numbers, which
have successfully done as they are showing on my monitor screen. Th
problem I have though is when I pint the book, which is one whol
document (244 pages and 68,136 words ) the page numbers are not on th
paper. This is quite annoying as the publishers will not accep
without the numbering.
I will be extremely gratefull if some body can help me with m
problem.
