page passwords

I would like to set a password on either a switchboard form or on a specific
form from the switchboard. I have created a menu on switchboard but would
like some of the options shown to be only available to certain users. I am
usng a networked access and so don't have all permissions. I need to either
make a sub-switch menu with a password or allow users into the sub-menu and
set a password on a specific form. One way or another I can't seem to do it.
At present I have a button in the switch form but I have hidden it, which is
not a very satisfactory cure
