Page Set-Up

I'm using Publisher 2003, XP and recently was working on an 8 1/2 X 14 "
document. Now whenever I open publisher it defaults to 8 1/2 x 14" page.
How do I reset it to always open as an 8 1/2 x 11 " page?

The default page setup is determined by your default print setup. Open the
printer folder, right-click the default printer, click printing preferences,
change the printing preference to letter stock.

Hi again
I did change the default priint setup in my printer, as it was set at 8 1/2
x 14. However when I open publisher it still opens the blank page to 8 1/2 x
11. I shouldn't need to do this everytime I open publisher should I?

I had a technician from Ricoh here helping me last week setting up an 8 1/2
x 14 booklet folded and stapled. Since his adjustments, I've had this
problem. Previously it always opened to 8 1/2 x 11. Is there somewhere else
besides the printer preferences that I need to change?

Thanks!!

No the printer isn't set up for booklet and re-booting didnt change anything
either. I thought it might be a simple Publisher issue but I'll contact
Ricoh and get their input. Thanks for all your help

There may be two places where you need to
change the paper size. Your settings may be
different than mine but these steps may give
you some ideas.

Go back to...Control Panel / Printers and Faxes...

1) Right click the icon for your default printer and
choose...Properties / Printing Preferences button /
Advanced button...

Open the paper size drop window and choose...
Letter or 8.5 x 11.

2) Right click the icon for your default printer and
choose...Properties / Advanced tab / Printing Defaults
button / Advanced tab

Open the Paper Size drop window and choose...
Letter or 8.5 x 11.

Thanks John... I followed your advice and I changed the setting for paper
size as well. That fixed it.

Thanks to both of you for your assistance.
