Page Setup page sizes not staying

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Power PC

We have several Excel files in 2008 now, that each time we open them we have to reset the page setup back to 11x17. In another thread from many months ago I found:

"Unfortunately, no, you're not missing something. Excel fails to save your
page size with the file. It's a bug that we're investigating.

I agree that it's frustrating and I'm sorry that you have to go back and
change it manually.

Is this still the case? We have updated but this seems to still be a problem, and is quite annoying. Thank you very much for any info regarding this!

It was not fixed in the update last released.
