Page setup problem in Excel XP

Hi, I need help for an Excel XP page setup problem. When I
opened a new document and go to File / Page Setup, the
paper size is blank, instead of Letter 8½ x 11.

Because of that, when I change it manually to Letter, then
saved the file and finally open up the file on an Excel
2000 program, when I go to the Page Setup, I've got Double
Postal Card, instead of Letter. So once again, I've got to
change it back to Letter if I want to print correctly.

I have already try to save the file in a Excel 2000
format, but that doesn't work.

Anyone got any solution?
