page setup question

Two files identically formatted using format painter.

Both setup as landscape / 85% normal size.

One refuses to include last two columns unless % is set to 70%

Why might this happen and what might I do to correct it?

Excel OSX. (I know it's old :)

Format painter (if you're referring to the paintbrush in the tool bar)
doesn't copy column width or print margins. First make sure these are
identical between the two documents.

You can obtain the exact scaling value by doing this: Go to File/Page setup,
set Fit to: 1 page(s) wide by (empty) high. Click OK to close the dialog.
Return to Page setup and look at the value in Adjust to x %. If it differs
between the two documents you certainly have a difference in column width or
margin width.

Thanks for the suggestion.
