Page size in browsers

How can I get my website to adjust automatically to the screensize of the
visitor ?
On small screens the site now fills the complete screen, on big ones only 2/3
I've been searching all over but can't find it.

to do this you would set your tables and/or divs to % rather than fixed
pixel widths.
it's not as easy as that one sentence would imply and there will be lots of
tweaking and experimentation.
