Page Size Reverts to Letter when Set for Tabloid

There are a few documents I am working with that I need to continually update. I have set the page size as tabloid in the page setup dialog. EVERY time I open the document it has reverted back to a letter size page. This is frustrating because I need the file to stay at Tabloid size because it is emailed out to others and they need to be able to view and print it properly at the tabloid size. Other page settings do remain intact such as print titles, comments, etc. This doesn't happen to all my documents, some keep the tabloid size, and some don't. I cannot figure out what it is that is set to allow it to revert back to letter size. Any suggestions??

Is your Office installation fully updated (12.1.7)? This was a known issue
but I believe it was fixed in one of the recent updates... perhaps 12.1.5 or
later.

Are the files that have this problem saved in the .xlsx format? If so, this
is a known issue that we're working on a fix for. Until we're able to
release a fix, the best workaround is to save the file as .xls, which should
preserve the paper size on save/re-open.
