Sue,

Personally, I don't use the FP templates at all the way
it is recommended.

You may be better off creating a \templates\ folder in
your FP web and store your pages there. That way, your
templates are "portable" with the website.

I only use includes and/or shared borders with my own
content and CSS only (never the FP templates feature).

That way I can ensure that everything is where I want it.
