page-up and page-down in Excell 2000

Why does the page down/up distance change from time to
time. I try to set up a repeatable system for moving in a
spread sheet and when the page down or page up distance
changes it takes longer to move to the next wanted cell
that was set to the previous page down distance.

Hi Doug:

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. With my particular screen
resolution, a maximized window and a default row height, PageUp/PageDown
results in a movement of exactly 41 rows every time. Of course, this would
be affected by differing row heights, frozen panes, visible toolbars and the
like.
