Page Width and Browser Compatibility continues to frustrate me!

Hi,

Using FP2002 I made a page where the outside table is set to a 100% page
width, so that the page fills the browser window regardless of the screen
resolution. There are three inside columns, with two of these being set for
a fixed width of 125px & 210px respectively, and the third column has no
width set (i.e. floating). There are no graphics which exceed these
dimensions, so that the page should display fully even on a 800x600 monitor
with no horizontal scrolling.

When I look at the page on Opera 7.5 or Firefox 0.8, the page appears to be
exactly as I intended. Yet, when I look at it with IE6, the page has
scrolled off the right margin (even on a 1024x768 monitor)!

How can this be fixed? The URL in question is
http://www.around-the-world.com/Australia/ozlove11.htm

Any ideas woudl be much appreciated.

Page Banner image is 600px + your 125px + your 210px = a few too many px (you wanna keep it under 750 or so)

Thanks much ... I had completely forgotten to consider the page banner as a
graphic.

No problem.

But the problem you now face is that you still don't have enough space for your center column to collapse gracefully. It looks fine at 1024 but not at 800. You may want to consider a smaller banner. OR keep it that size but put your banner above the existing table rows - in a new row and keep it to the left. - just a thought.
