Page X of Y displays as Page X of X instead of Y

Hi,

I have a problem with page numbering.

I have inserted from the Header & Footer toolbar "Page X
of Y", it displays properly on the screen ie Page 1 of 3
but when I print the three pages it prints like this;

Page 1 of 1, Page 2 of 2 and Page 3 of 3.

There are no section breaks in the document only pages
breakds, I am not sure how to resolve this problem.

Has anyone encounted this problem or know how to solve
it? I would be very grateful.

and I still have problem. Does anyone have another

Try them again. They've been working for others for a long time. It may be
that you didn't understand a particular step or direction.
Then, if they still don't work, detail what it is you've tried and what
results you achieve, along with the exact version of Word that you are
using.

I realized that if you open up print preview and then
print, it will print normally. However, without doing
this, it will print incorrectly. Does this happen to
everyone else too?

Not _everyone_, but yes, it is a VERY common problem that raises
itself here every two days on the average.
