Hello! Friends,

I just installed Offiice 2000. In WORDS, I am not able to see the "Document Grid" tab under File/Page Setup, whereas I can see it in another of my PC. Why is it so?

Thanks.

Hi Lee,

What language version of Word are you using on this machine and the other
one?

The only tabs that I have under that box are "Paper", "Margins" and "Layout"

I've never heard of "Document Grid"

Hope this helps

Hi!

The one has the tab is Win98SE and the one without is Win-
XP-Home.

In fact, when I type 'Document Grid" in WORDS/HELP, it
does mention it can be found under File/page_Setup.

I would imagine that the Document Grid settings are the result of enabling
support for an Asian language.

Both of my machines are Asian Language enable, but one can
see the tab but the other cannot.

Are they both enabled in Windows AND Office?

I checked the Control Panel/Regional Language setting,
both are enabled.
That does not eman you have enabled editing other languages for Office. If
you look up the language in Word's Help it gives instructions for
enablement. In brief though, you should be using the Office Language Setting
Tool.
