I would post this question in another Newsgroup but the
others that might be more appropriate are not available. I
am working on a document which is 34 pages long. Word is
sticking autopage breaks in inappropriate locations, many
times well short of the end of the page. Sometimes there
is only 1 line between breaks. Why!? How can I stop this.
I can improve things by cutting text, which should be
between the breaks and paste it into the correct page.
Word then just moves the break down. This has been a
persistent problem. We were using Word 97 and have
upgraded to WordXP. The problem has existed with both
versions. I have, in the past, saved the file as a plain
text file but that is a drastic move given all the
formatting I would have to redo. Any help or suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.
We are using WordXP with Windows 2000.
Thanks in advance!
