PAGEREF errors - Word 2000

Hello

In a template, the last section must indicate the total of pages, is
to say a numeration of the type "Page X of Y". The template was used
in Word 2000 and Word 2003.

I have used field SECTIONPAGES, but it gives errors being impossible
that it numbers correctly, indicating "Pag. 1 of 1", "Pag 2 of 2"....

Consulting forums and articles of Microsoft, I have used the field
"PAGEREF bookmark", locating the bookmark at the end of the section.

This bookmark always to be inserted automatically when printing or
keeping the document. This way, it does not matter that the user
eliminates it accidentally.

In Word 2003 it has worked correctly, but in Word 2000 it correctly
does not indicate the number the total of page.

I have tried several solutions. If the field is selected and it is
updated of manual form, this one is updated correctly, but this does
not serve to me since it must update of automatic form.

In addition, any solution does not have to imply a pagination of the
document, since they are great enough documents and is necessary to
avoid and to control the number of times pagination.


Some idea?

After installing all the updates of Office, field PAGEREF follows without
updating itself correctly.
