Greetings ......
Don't know exactly what I did, but suddenly several docs are several
pages longer. The first notion I got that something was weird was when
I opened them and there was a lot of griding before it showed me numbers
of pages at the bottom.
It looks like on some pages, it decided to insert page breaks after line
45, while on others it will go to 46 or 47, as if it shortened some
pages. So I'm spilling over onto a new page in several places. One doc
went from 82 pages to 91 pages. I haven't changed any settings, unless
it's something I fat-fingered. So my careful formatting and editing of
the last several weeks is suddenly out the window. This is Word 2000 on
NT.
Is it perhaps paragraph formatting? Currently the only thing I have
checked is Widow/orphan control.
I would be very grateful for any suggestions. My thanks in advance.
