pages of garbage with e-mails

some e-mails gome in with 20 or 30 pages of garbage. the message is inbedded,
and can be read, but the rest looks like some kind of programming
information. Why does this happen, only on a few e-mails, re rest are fine.

The usual cause is having your antivirus scanner integrated with Outlook.
Uninstall your AV program and reinstall it without the mail scanning feature.
This won't fix any existing message, but it should help with future messages.

The person might have sent you an email with an attachment and the attachment
got damaged in sending.

You might ask the person who sent you that email if they sent an attachment.
Ask if they can instead just type the message into the body of the email and
not use attachments, unless needed.
