Pages pages and more pages

When creating a word document in the print layout view,
if your document becomes longer than one page, another
page is automatically generated. My question is how can
I eliminate those extra pages once they have been
created? thanks to anyone who can help

If there's text on a page, then there's a page. Empty paragraphs count.
Press Ctrl+*, and you'll probably see some empty paragraphs. Delete them.
