Pages to Subpages

Pages should be easily convertable into subpages in OneNote 2003.

Instead, I have to create a new subpage and drag all of the notes from the
original page to the subpage.

It does... two different ways in fact. To promote one page, Click the tab
for the page and drag it out and up or down. IF you drop it between two
pages, it becomes a page. The other way works for a set of sub-pages: Right
click the subpage and select "UnGroup Pages". All subpages will become
regular pages.

Thank you for your help on this.

My actual goal is to convert a regular page into a sub-page. Is there a way
to do it without having to manually move the notes?

I structured many of my notes using Sections and pages, but I could
consolidate a good part of the informatin by using pages and subpages
instead.

Thank you

Sorry - count that as a mis-read. Going the other direction is almost as
easy. Say we have P1 and P2, where P1 is to become the subpage and P2 is the
page you want P1 to be grouped with. Drag P1 so that it is below P2 in the
list of pages. Click P2 and then Control-Click P1. Right click and select
Group Pages. Voila - P1 is now a subpage of P2!

To create a blank subpage, right click in the page list and select new
Subpage. To turn an existing page into a subpage, move it to just under the
page you want it to be a subpage of, select them both, right click and
select Group Pages.
