Paid for Word 2001 but doesn't work in vista,not paying 4 new 1

I paid $100. back when I was using XP,now I have Vista. What gives?I found
out that in order for me to use Works Suite2001, I have to buy another
computer with XP!! What gives!I am not going to buy Works suite2007 for
$150.Seem like you people would have made it easy for someone like myself,NOT
RICH,to fix the problem.Where's a patch or update or something!!!!!!!so I can
use my PROGRAM!!!!!!!

There is no Word 2001. The most recent version of Word that was included in
Works Suite was Word 2002, and this will most certainly run on Vista. Works
Suite 2001 (if that's what it is) included Word 2000, and that also will
run on Vista (see

There is no Works Suite 2007; in fact, there is no current version of Works
Suite (the current version of Works is Works 9, but there is no suite that
includes Word and other apps). From the $150 price, it appears you might be
referring to Office Home & Student 2007.
