Hello,

Word 2004 has been unable to display Palatino Linotype Ancient Greek
characters from files that I've created in Windows Word documents. Any
thoughts on resolving this issue?

Thanks

Make sure you have the Unicode version of Palatino on your Mac.

If necessary, "borrow" the Windows .TTF file and pop it into one of your Mac
font folders.

Older Mac fonts do not have as wide a range of characters available as their
Windows cousins. The newer ones designed for OS X and Unicode have nearly
twice as many characters (glyphs).

Cheers

Hiya,
in addition to what John has said, if by
Word 2004 has been unable to display Palatino Linotype Ancient Greek characters
you mean that certain characters are replaced by different such as
squares... you can select the whole document (apple+A) and change the
font to for example Times, taht should do the trick, if you do not
mind to changing font family

(When I share document between PC-MAc I usually use times or arials as
these are problemless on boths (I'm using CE languages) Although I
like Palation, I had problems with some specific characters)
