Palm Desktop 4.1 and Outlook

I currently have Palm Desktop 4.1 that does not have the software to sync
with outlook loaded on the install CD. I have over a thousand contacts and
need to move my contacts from palm desktop to outlook. If I export to a
comma deliminated file, I need to map each address when I import it. Is
there a less time consuming way to export and have outlook read the
information for importing? I'd really like to migrate to a pocket pc, but
need to move the data. Thank you.

I would recommend you get Chapura PocketMirror or Pumatech Intellisync, if
your Palm/software is not capable of syncing the Palm to Outlook directly.
It is always a huge PITA to export/import from Palm Desktop...Pocketmirror
isn't expensive and will do this for you very easily...probably worth the
small cash outlay to avoid hours of hand-tweaking stuff. Just my opinion.
