Palm/Entourage calendar sync

T

Terry Robinson

Still looking for help. I'm running Mac X, 10.2.8, Entourage, 10.1.4,
Offfice X, 10.1.5, Palm, 4.1. I can't get the Entourage calendar to
sync with my Palm, Tungsten C. I have 'limited' all of my re-occurring
events so none are open ended. All other apps sync OK, just calendar
remains problematic.

Hi Terry!

What's the latest version of the Entourage conduit that you have installed?
If you haven't already done so, download the latest from here
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx?pid=download&location=/mac/DOWNL
OAD/OFFICEX/palmsync.xml&secid=5&ssid=9&flgnosysreq=True

Hope this helps! bill

I am not always able to see gifs/jpegs in the body of incoming email. It
just shows a a little red dot with an X through it. I can go to my comcast
account using Safari and see the little gifs/jpegs fine. In the Entourage
mail prefs, I have check "display complex HTML in messages". If someone
sends me photos in an attachment, I see the list of attachments and they
open automatically in the body of the message.

Any suggestions?

Do you also have the "Allow access" subheading for that preference checked?
Many sites require that for the pictures to show. (They're not gifs or jpeg
attachments usually - they're on a website. That's why you can see them I
Safari.) Of course that lets the senders confirm your email address and
suchlike, so you have to decide which is more important to you. Many people
here have expressed the wish that this option could be turned off and on per
message - you might want to request it too via Help/Send Feedback.

PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - 2001 or X.

Thanks,

Checking allow access did it.
