Palm Sync with Entourage - Works EXCEPT for Calendar Entires

I'm using Tiger 10.4.1 and Entourage 2004 with current updates with a
Zire 71.

I reinstalled Palm Desktop and Hotsync - followed by MS Handheld Sync
Installer.

Under Panther -- everything synced normally.

Under Tiger - I have done a one-way (Palm < Entourage) sync for all
items. Address Book and Notes from Entourage all sync properly to the
Palm as Address and Memo Pad entries respectively.

However, the first sync completely wiped out all the calendar entries
on the palm -- just blank. That's OK because I'm only using the
one-way sync at the moment. I tried the sync with: "enable sync. with
these new handhelds" first un-checked then checked. It makes no
difference - calendar entries do not move over to the palm.

If there is something obvious - I'm missing it. Any suggestions???
