Palm Treo Calendar Synchronization - Old Items

When trying to sync my Palm Treo 650 using the Palm Desktop, old, deleted
items appear on my Palm, such as " 's" entries I deleted long ago because I
heard such entries mess up Palm. Often, a number of these all get placed at
a particular time on the day I am attempting to sync.

I'm sure there is an old file somewhere that Outlook or Palm is saving that
has these entries. I feel that if I could find the file, I could delet these
entries and clear up the problem.

Any ideas where to look?
