Palm Treo Sync

I'm a recent convert from a PC to a Mac, and just purchased and installed
Office for Mac 2008. All seems fine but I can't sync my Treo 700p with the
Calendar and To Do file in Entourage, and I can't find any documentation to
help solve this issue.

Does anyone know if this is possible, and, if so, where I can find
instructions?

Thank you, Jolly. Just reinforces my decision to go with a Mac instead of

It seems Microsoft has decided to abandon the Office 2004 Handheld Sync
Conduit in 2008, in favor of something they call Sync Services, which
attempts (and largely fails) to synchronize data between Entourage,
Apple's iCal and Address Book, and Palm devices. It's a horrid,
complicated, broken mess.

Note that the horrid, complicated, broken Sync Services is a "powerful
and extensible mechanism" which is a built in feature of OS X:

FWIW, with the significant exception of categories, Sync'g works fine
with my Treo.
