I'm virtually certain that you can't save a new custom color in Word.

However, if you can work out the RGB equivalent of Pantone 209 (Photoshop
could help you here), you can type the numbers in each time. To do so, choose
Format-->Font to get to the Font dialog box. Choose "More Colors..." from the
color menu, and click on the Custom tab. Type in the Red, Green, and Blue
values, and then you can use that color straight from the toolbar--until you
close Word.

Hope this helps,
Ben

You can create a style (for current purposes, probably a character
style) and set its RGB color to the nearest equivalent (approximately
R = 117, G = 38, B = 61 for a dark reddish brown), then apply that
style to any text. If the style is stored in a template, it'll be
available to any document based on that template.
