Paper and Printer Settings

I know this can be done in Access - so, I was wondering if you can
designate a specific printer and paper size in a particular spreadsheet
and have Excel save the settings???

I think the specific printer won't be remembered. In fact, if I share a
workbook with someone, I'm happy that that printer isn't remembered. (I may not
use the same type as the other person.)

I'm not sure about excel remembers the page size. I print a worksheet on 11x17
paper at work. I just opened it and looked the print settings. It was set for
8.5/11. But my home printer doesn't support 11x17.

But I have shared the same workbook with others whose printers support
11x17--but use a completely different printer (probably some variation of HP,
though).

Excel seems to remember how I set the page setup.

So my answer is you may want to experiment a little to find out if xl remembers
it for you.
