"Paper Size Mismatch" error ... but not

I'm trying to print out manila envelopes sized by 152 mm wide by 228 mm long. Word 2016 doesn't have a preset template for that size, so I created one by going to Envelopes and Labels > Options > Envelope Options > Custom Size. The icon in the Envelopes and Labels preview panel reflects this change in dimensions.

When I try to print, I get an error that reads, "Paper Size Mismatch. The paper size detected by the printer sensor does not match the paper size selected in software." I've double-checked the measurements to be sure the dimensions I specified are correct. How does one fix this?
