Paper Source Changes from WIN2K to WINXP

L

Louise Smith

Hi,

I'm wondering whether anyone has seen this problem (I've searched the
newsgroup with no success).

A template when opened in Windows 2000 has different paper sources
selected than it does when opened in Windows XP.

The Windows 2000 and Windows XP PC's are on the same network. The
template is opened on each PC from its network location.

In one instance, the paper source settings are set to autoselect and
in the other, are set to specific trays.

Any ideas??

TIA,

Louise
Hope this helps,

Louise

Hi Louise,

You might try asking this in the word.printing.fonts newsgroup, where
people who specialize in this type of question can be found. My GUESS
would be that this might reflect the difference in the settings for the
default printer on each machine, or perhaps a difference in the printer
drivers. You should also mention the version of Word (on each machine)
when you ask again.
