I have hyperlinks in my Access database to Paperport .max files. When I
select the hyperlink in MS Access, the Paperport PageViewer program opens,
but the document is not displayed and the PageViewer window is blank.
If I then select the Desktop view from PageViewer, it opens Paperport 10 as
it should, and it displays the correct directory that contains the document
that I selected via the hyperlink. After I locate the document in the desktop
directory, I can select the document from the PP desktop, and it opens
correctly in PageViewer.
I want to go directly from Access to Pageviewer without being required to go
to Paperport and search for the document, and then open it.
Also, if I close PageViewer (without first going to the PP desktop view),
the following error message is displayed: "Unable to insert item of this
type. Only PaperPort Image items can be inserted. Do you want to exit without
inserting?" The only accepted answer is Yes, which closes pageViewer.
