Papyrus shows up viner hand

From Word 2003, I am selecting papyrus font, but the text changes to viner
hand itc font. In the Font text box papyrus is displayed. I went to
Windows\Font and opened the papyrus font to find it was empty. I copied the
file from another computer and replaced it. I did not work. What could be
going on?

Have you tried printing a sample? My first guess is that you don't have a
screen font to match Papyrus, so it defaults to viner.
