Para Symbol is intefering with one unicode character

Hi All,

I am trying to do a mail merge and print labels.
The source data (mdb) is all in another language (Hindi). All goes well
except the Para Character.
There is a Hindi alphabet which is same as the para symbol in english fonts.
Now, Word never prints this character.
I tried to turn an the para symbol display from Options and it prints too
many junk characters all over the label.

I don't have a clue on how to solve the problem.

Hi Vikas,

As far as I know, Word deletes this character (ASCII 182, ¶) from the text.

It's not the same character as the paragraph mark (ASCII 13) which shows when you display formatting characters.

I don't know any solution, except perhaps to replace the character with something else in the database, and later replace back in
Word.
You might try to complain to MS about it.
I did, though I fear that all complaints to (e-mail address removed) are simply ignored, and don't know a better address for complaints
and bug reports.
