Paragraph Border Question

I used the Border and Shading button in Word 2007 to simply put a nice
border around one of my paragraphs to make it stand out. But now for
the life of me, I can't move the cursor out of this box. It is stuck inside
the paragraph border. I'd like to continue my document and move my
cursor "down" beneath this border and simply continue to type my
next paragraph, but cursor is stuck inside. In fact when I hit the "return"
key, the border starts to get larger and move down. I just want to get my
cursor out of there and start my next paragraph. Thankyou

When you press enter the formatting is carried from one paragraph to the
next. To avoid such things avoid formatting "on the fly" - if you're going
to rely on direct formatting it should be one of the last things you do.
Remove the Border, continue typing the content, then return to the paragraph
to be bordered & reapply the border.

You might also consider learning to use Styles for your formatting. Check
the info in Word Help pertaining to Styles.

Thankyou, it worked perfectly, just as you say, I'll remember not to format
my very last paragraph with a border. thanks for your help.
Could you possibly help me with my bullet question. When I highlight an
entire paragraph of say 3 lines. And apply the Bullet, All 3 Lines Are
Bulleted.
Why, I just want the first line bulleted, and have the other 2 lines
remained unbulletted, but "aligned" with the first line., and indented as
well with the first line when the bullet is applied. When you bullet it
usually indents automatically,
can you show me how to highlight all 3 lines of my paragraph, but have only
the
first line bulleted, instead of all 3 lines being bulleted. thanks again.
