I need help with an error I made in paragraph formatting.....
I was copying and pasting something onto a word document, and a line of the
text I was copying didn't appear on the screen. I was going to just type in
the text, and when i typed a letter the the text that wasn't showing up did.
The assistant came on and said something about invisible text. all these ¶
started to appear. I closed this document, but now all my word documents have
the ¶ in them and every word is seperated with a · dot thingy. All my
documents are ruined! I don't know how to get them back to standard form.
Please, if anyone could help me, let me know. I'm a college student and I
have alot of HW due,, this is not goood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your documents are far from "ruined." See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/NonPrintChars.htm. The text you
couldn't see was Hidden text. In toggling Show/Hide
¶ to display the Hidden text, you also toggled on all the other nonprinting
characters. Note that if you toggle them off, the text will be Hidden again
unless you remove the Hidden property (Format | Font or Ctrl+Shift+H).
