paragraph formatting

I am printing a newspaper and the format I receive a
document is in PDF format which is not formatted
properly. When I extract the text it has been typed using
the enter key at the end of every line making it very
time consuming to format for the paper. Is there a way to
remove the formatting so that word wraps the text?
