Paragraph markers

I am unable to get rid of the paragraph markers on my
page when I email the page it is fine, but when I look at
it it shows all the markers. I know how to hit the
button to check my document but this is not the problem,
I assume it is in formating or something but cannot seem
to fix it, thanks, jodi

Hi Jaeog
Click on the backwards P symbol on the Standard Toolbar or Press Shift +
Ctrl + 8.
If you exit Word it should remember this setting.

Thanks, But this does not work...I have tried everything
including restore back a day or so, nothing will do it.

Go to tools > options > view and see what is selected to display in
Formatting marks. If you have "ALL" selected then Control + Shift + 8 won't
change anything as it is a toggle switch. If you have only some of them
selected then these ones will stay visible and the others will show when you
use the toggle to switch them on and off. If you untick the options then the
backwards P or Control+ Shift + 8 will work again.

Greetings!

Thanks Genine! I came here looking for a solution to the same problem.
Hitting that backward P on the toolbar made all that stuff go away. Thanks!
