Paragraph Marks/New Question about text in Word doc.

Carol

Someone named Greg helped me very much with a problem I
was having with paragraph marks..I just wanted to thank
him, it worked like a charm!!

By the way, would anyone happen to know an answer to the
following question:

I have a Word document that has three "sections" to it. I
need to take this info and put it in a table in Access,
but the format of the sections won't allow me to do
it...I'm finding it impossible to separate the data so
each section can go into its own field in Access. For
example, this is what it looks like:

101.102 Heart Attack

Heart Attack relates to Cardiovascular, etc...

Each "section" - the code, the Title and the Text
underneath it needs its own field in Access. I'm unable to
put this data in a table in Word and separate it so that
it can go into an Access table.

I don't know if this makes much sense, but hopefully,
someone will understand and be able to help.

Thanks!

Hi Carol,

Are you working with VBA (programming)? And are the numbers
generated by Word's AutoNumbering?
