Paragraph numbering in Word 2007

I would like to number my paragraphs like the following:
1
1.1
1.2
1.2.1
2
2.1
2.1.1
2.1.2

The closest I can get is like this:
1
1.1
2.1
1.1.1
And that does not give me the overview I need.
How do I get the paragraphs listed like I neeed?

use the third selection in the List Library pulldown

I have not got that one, I have:

1.2
2.2
3.2 and
and
1.1
2.1
3.1

and then the ones with the letters ect.

I saw that you said your problem was resolved.

I am trying to write a chapter(Chapter 10) ,and have been trying fo
the following scheme
1
10.
10.1.
10.1.1.1 and so on.

For some reason, the numbering is extending to the -sub---levels- a
well. So when(in outline view) I see only level 1, I se
1
10.
10.
10.12
and so on , when , without intending to, I've numbered sub-topics t
land up with this strange form of paragraph numbering
