Paragraph Numbering

I'm having troubles responding to an RFP. Could someone please tell me how
do you set up numbering like the following?
C.1
C.1.1
C.1.1.1
C.1.1.2
C.1.2
C.2
C.2.1

It seems quite daunting at first but once you follow the steps it is
