Paragraph positioning in RTF

Hi,

Is it the right group for question about the RTF format ?

According to the RTF specs document, the code below gives me a paragraph
absolutely positioned in the page:

\par \pard \pvpg\phpg\posxc\posyt\absw5040\dxfrtest173 First APO para

Now what I want is such a paragraph, but inside a cell in a table.
When I include a similar code in a cell, the positioning just wont be done.

Any hint ?
