Paragraph problems

For some reason when I am typing away in a word doc every now and then

the paragraph changes from left aligned to justified

I am not doing this it just happens = I don't know why.

Any ideas if I can switch it off somewhere I have looked but no luck.

Maybe you accidentally typed the combination Ctrl+J -- for example, hitting
Ctrl when you meant to hit Shift. If that happens, the quick way to get back
the left alignment is to hit Ctrl+L.

If you find that this is what's happening, and if you don't use the keyboard
shortcut anyway, you can unassign it. Open Tools > Customize and click the
Keyboard button. Select "Format" on the left and "JustifyPara" on the right.
Click the Ctrl+J shortcut in the Current Keys box and click the Remove
button.

Thanks for that it really has helped.
